The Richmond Forum is a premier non-profit organization bringing thought leaders from all over the world to its stage in Richmond, expanding horizons and stimulating unfiltered conversation throughout the community. We were faced with the challenge of highlighting the unique and inspirational quality of this organization—which was suffering from inconsistency and datedness—and bring it to a more relevant context.
Conversation. It is the foundation of everything from the logo to the award-winning introductory video. We emphasized the opportunity The Richmond Forum gives its audience in enabling them to share the same room with such notable figures as Steven Spielberg, Condoleezza Rice, and Steve Forbes. These individuals are typically experienced only at a distance through a media filter.
A logo inspired by dialogue features quotation marks of different shapes, tones and directions that represent diverse points of view expressed at The Richmond Forum. Design elements of the logo are used to visually enhance and create continuity within various branding and marketing materials, including the stage graphics, program, tickets, website and introductory video.
