Account Executive

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive who is a good fit for a team that is passionate about steering growth for our clients, our company and our team members. Our Account Executives strategically manage client relationships, looking for ways to help them grow their businesses. Working with our team of project managers, designers, developers and consultants, the Account Executive helps articulate the client’s needs and challenges to ensure that we deliver high quality work on time and on budget. Account Executives serve as the internal voice for the client and are involved throughout the relationship from strategic planning to creative execution. This position requires an individual to exemplify strong leadership qualities with the capacity to maintain a high level of awareness and organization with client activities, detail-oriented management, and professional communication with key client contacts as needed. They must also demonstrate the desire to keep current on client/industry trends.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements include:

  • Handles day-to-day activities for assigned clients
  • Effectively presents all agency work/proposals to and educates clients; supports other team members in these functions
  • Keeps up to date on of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing developments
  • Assists in preparing client invoices, proposals, timelines, marketing communications and strategic marketing plans, media and public relations plans
  • Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all client communications, including calls, emails and text messages
  • Oversees execution of approved projects/programs
  • Checks and approves creative/production materials, copy, layouts, and production art, and coordinates client approval of same
  • Develops and manages scopes of work and client budgets
  • Reviews billing prior to release to clients
  • Informs Director of Account Services and President regularly of account progress for all assigned clients
  • Coordinates project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel
  • Actively involved in steering growth of the account relationship
  • Represents agency at industry and community functions
  • 5+ years managing projects and client relationships (experience in the financial services or AEC industries a plus)
